Y’all know I love fused glass flowers. This month I took a class with one of my favorite people – Laurie Spray in Bonny Doon California. Here is a picture of of Laurie and me. I just love her. This is my third class with Laurie. I also took a vitrigraph / cane class and an images class (both fantastic)
Laurie and Me
It was a fused glass fantasy flower class. I had a fabulous time. There are so many steps to making this flower technique and it’s truly amazing. Here are two pictures of my flower. The one on the right is without my center stamen, the left is with the stamen and center, and a short video.
Can you tell I love my fused glass flower? Look at my crazy smile.
In addition to the big flower, I also made a small bowl. Isn’t it pretty? I also bought 3 of Laurie’s bowls of of which I gave to my Airbnb hostess. I can’t wait to make more of these little fused glass bowls.

Laurie is a fabulous instructor, she gave us so much information and taught us so many things. Joel, Laurie’s husband, is a fabulous cook. So in addition to having an amazing glass class we ate like queens! I can’t wait to take another class with Laurie.
