Those who know me know that my eyesight for reading is pretty much non existent. So I am constantly looking for my glasses, once I was searching for my glasses and found 3 – on my head!
So I made fused glass eyeglass holders. I wrote a blog about them a while back. I have standard ones with one fused glass cabochon (I just made several more to chose from) and I have snap eyeglass holders where you can change them out. I even created necklaces where you could put your eye glasses in.
But with my daughter going off to college next year I am starting to make more and more custom pieces with her beautiful face. So I decided to make custom eye glass holders with pictures that aren’t fused glass.
They have a clear glass cover to protect and enhance the picture. These are my three new ones. I haven’t glued them in so I can change them out but of course I risk losing them so I’ll probably have to pick my favorite soon and just glue it in. As you can see I love my family and that’s what I did for mine but I can take any picture and turn it into an eye glass holder. The holder can also be used for badges if your work requires you to have wear a badge.
