Fused Glass Enamels Pendants

I have probably about 4 different types of enamels, that I’ve barely ever used. These fused glass pendants turned out great. I painted the backs of several cabochons to see how they’d turn out. Luckily I didn’t have to fire them too high.

Here are the red cabochons. I love the results! They have such depth.

Here are the blue cabochons, again the turned out beautifully.

Here are the mauve cabochons, love this color!

Here are the other types of enamels, I did some test sheets to see the color and to verify my firing schedule. I love the colors but when I turned them over enameled them again and fired the enamel didn’t work very well. I put them in the tumbler to smooth the backs out. It will be interesting to see if the enamel stays on the front. The key is to only do the top and to put it on thick.

My plan is to make pendants out of most but I also made poker guards, pocket crosses, snaps, etc. Of course the only real way to understand the depth is to see them in person.
