Fused Glass Easter Egg Class

On 19 April at 2pm I will teach a Parent and Child (age 10 and up) Egg Class. Classes includes instruction, glass, tools, accessory glass, etc. Typically, classes are around 2 hours. No experience is necessary. Some of the supplies available for the egg class including vitrigraph, frit, dots, murrine, etc. Max number of students is 6 (minimum of 4), so if you would like to take this fused glass egg class, please email me at elegantfusedglass@gmail.com. A $20 non-refundable deposit per person is required.

This Easter Class starts at $50 for per Parent & child class. NOTE: There is a nonrefundable $20 deposit per person required to reserve your spot in class. You can pay via check, Facebook pay, PayPal or cash app. A lot of work goes into preparing for a class and when someone drops out right before a class makes it difficult for me to get other students or cancel for the remaining students which is not fair to them.

Here are some examples of large, fused glass eggs, they can be made into ornament, suncatchers, or even as little art pieces.

The fused glass eggs below are tiny little eggs perfect for magnets or pendants

The eggs below are clear and I even drilled a hole in the top to make it easy to add a pinch bail for a pendant for the small egg (covered in frit and dots). The larger one is perfect for a suncatcher or ornament. I did this one more as a way to show you the different glass accessories that can be added to the eggs – first is murrine, then twisty cane, then dots, then murrine, sheet glass, medium frit, coarse frit, and a large millefiori.

You can also create a little Easter chick! Aren’t they cute! These are just examples of some little chicks you can make.

You can also create a little Easter Bunnies! I’m not sure which eyes I like best, which are your favorite?

In addition, each student receives a FREE fused glass gift. For April students have a choice of Easter pendants or other fused glass pendants.

For fun, I also made a couple of my pieces into plant stakes (if a parent wants to make a plant stake there will be an additional fee).
