Fused Glass Crackle

One of my favorite fused glass techniques is crackle. I learned it from the great Bob Leatherbarrow. If you look in the links below I’ve listed some of the past posts I’ve written about my classes with Bob. Well I’ve made some small pieces just to have a bit of fun. These first small dishes are beautiful, what a great technique. I know you can’t tell but the one on the right is iridized. I so love this technique.

I also made a votive out of one of my tiles. My crackles are two tone so I took a picture of the top and bottom. This is a great piece inside and out.

I also experimented a bit with pebbles, I think they turned out pretty well. These are tiny little dishes and I’m showing the top and bottom.

I love this technique. I need to make a big art piece.
