For June I have been focusing my fused glass blogs on videos Tanya Veit teaches on her AAE Glass website in her Education center. I’ve blogged about several techniques including: the Glass Glo brick plate, Mosaic tile plate, the fused glass quilt plate, and several jewelry techniques. I thought I’d do another dish. Plus this is related to my DYK. The color around the edges is fused on by painting fiber paper.
This is the first fusing after being fired down on the fiber paper. The second picture is after the 2nd firing. The third is picture is after slumping.
These are some close up shots of the paint and cobble stone texture.
I made a cobble pocket vase a while back I like this technique. It’s very organic.
