All year I have been focusing on the myriad of ways I learn new fused glass techniques; January’s Newsletter focused on the techniques I learned from a class I took from Patty Gray, February’s Newsletter focused on fused glass techniques I learned in classes I took from Tanya Veit, March’s Newsletter focused on fused glass techniques I learned from ebooks I bought from Helios, April’s Newsletter focused on molds / tutorials from Creative Paradise, May’s Newsletter focused on techniques I learned from Jodi’s Glass with a Past webinars, and June’s newsletter focused on fused glass techniques I learned from Tanya’s Veit’s website.
July’s focus has been a bit difficult for me to finally make up my mind. First I was going to focus on Bob’s techniques but I was kind of hoping he may have either a video or ebook coming out and I want to wait on it. Then I thought I’d so some techniques from other e-books, then webinars, and then combination.
Then I realized that I have my first show in August in Woodland Park, another in September etc. and need to start making some things for my shows including fused glass Christmas items. So for July I’m going to focus on making fun fused glass items for my shows. Several of them involves techniques from each of my last few newsletters. If there is something you’d like me to bring to my Shows or to put on my websites please let me know.
So for this blog I thought I’d show off some of my new fused glass ornaments. I learned a lot from each of them. I really like them all especially the snowmen and angels (except I need to probably make the eyes smaller- my angels look like aliens!). Most will be ornaments but they can also be pendants or magnets.
