I’m so in spring mode, albeit here in Colorado we don’t always have a spring. Today was beautiful, but tomorrow it could be a blizzard. Anyway, I just wrote a blog about my fused glass mushrooms and last month I wrote about fused glass garden stakes.
So while I was making my mushrooms and the garden stakes I came a cross some fused glass butterflies I made a while back and decided I should make them into night lights similar to my fused glass mushrooms. This first one is on a cork and placed into 2 different bottles, I like that because it’s on a cork I can move it from bottle to bottle. Also did I mention the wings are on wire and move a bit? Very cool!
This next one is same concept, I know you can’t tell be there is some beautiful iridized glass on the underside of the wings.
This next fused glass butterfly is actually a stake.
