A few months back I asked my good friend Tracy to cut bears out of special reactive glass (petrified wood and robin’s egg blue) for me. She cut 4 bears out and I fired them. They turned out magnificently. Here they are – aren’t they stunning?
I have been struggling deciding how to display them. I went down to Westcliffe recently and there is a fabulous little wood shop there Greenleaf owned and ran by Seth. What a great guy by the way. Loved his little show, I also bought some frames. There is so many more things I want!
I brought my bears in and we discussed how to display them. This is what we below, aspen of course. I just love them!
Just to show you some other beautiful, petrified wood glass, here are some of my small dishes. It’s such a fabulous glass.
Thank you to both Tracy, who cut out my bears with her wazer and thank you to Seth who designed my displays for my bears.
