During the Doherty craft show one of my long time customers bought a nightlight and as I was about to ring it up I dropped and broke it. Ironically it was right after she said it’s amazing your pieces don’t break. I said oh they will if you drop them on the floor. I told her I thought I had another one at home but I was wrong.
I told her I thought I had another one at home but I was wrong. So I told her she had a couple of choices; she could chose another, I could make her a replacement, or I could refund her money. She said what she’d really like is an angel. We found a metal angel pendant and I told her I’d be happy to make a nightlight with the angel on it for her. I made the 4 backgrounds below and she picked the one she liked the best.
Here is the completed fused glass angel night light. I think it turned out really well. This was the first time I did something like this and I love it. My customer loved it too. She did recommend I try to make an all glass angel night light and I think I’ll give it a shot. Obviously I’ll write a post about it when I do. If you look closely she can change out the glass snap!
