We went to Westcliffe this month. It’s such a beautiful place and God I love Westcliffe. Here are just a few pictures from the property. It’s funny the trees weren’t changing too much yet but there are still a few flowers. I love sitting on the property, listening to the wind, feeling the sun on my face, smelling the trees, and so much more.
One of the things we like to do is to drive around. I love the mountains, animals (yes even the cows and the donkeys), and the old buildings.
We went over to a friends house and had a fabulous dinner and of course great company. I love their little cabin, the property is beautiful they’ve done some wonderful work on it. My friend has bought a lot of glass from me over the years and it was so sweet seeing it everywhere. These are just a few of my fused glass pieces she had displayed.
I also love the town. Westcliffe is a very patriotic town. I also love that it closes up at 1930 and is slow to open up. I love that they aren’t afraid to show their pride in America.
I love Westcliffe, I love how it brings out the best in Dan and me.
