We went to Breckenridge again recently. We’ve been going there for over 10 years, however it’s getting so busy it’s not as fun for us as it used to be. That being said we had a good time. We went in the hot tub every night. One day we went ATVing (half day). This is the first time we were completely on our own. We picked up a razor side by side (they provided a hummer to tow it), and went to the trail head. It was a beautiful trail; trees, a river on the right side of the trail, mountains on both sides, and flowers galore. It was just amazing, columbine in the wild, Indian paint brushes, wild roses, mariposa lilies, and so many more. We took this side road and went up and saw two old mines. I just love this ATV trip, the only regret is we didn’t go a full day. Here are just a few of the pictures I took (over 400).
We also went to lake Dillon, I love this lake it’s so pretty and peaceful; here are a few pictures. These pictures are from two different view points.
Breckenridge really does a great job on flowers all over town, but especially by the beautiful river walk and garden. Here are just a few of the photos I took while we were there.
Lastly we went to the blue lakes and saw several pairs of momma and baby mountain goats, they were so adorable. The other thing I loved was the flowers – they were everywhere; I just love Colorado wildflowers. And of course the lakes. We even went up on the dam. What a beautiful place. I must have taken 500 pictures.
I love traveling and I love writing about it. If I wasn’t blogging about fused glass I’d blog about travel – can you tell?

love the pictures of Breckenridge. Makes me want to visit there. But I think anywhere in CO is beautiful. Have you considered making note cards with your photos? or framing them with fused glass? the ones of the flowers are so gorgeous.
Thank you that’s so kind. I love the Flowers of Colorado. I’ll try that, great idea. Thank you.
