For those who read my fused glass blogs and newsletters you know I went to see my Son and Daughter-in-law in October, well like any proud momma I love to take pictures of my amazing family. So what better way to show off my lovely family than to commemorate the event in glass. So I made a scone with my family it will be perfect for my mantel with a nice little candle behind it. Then because I’m really crazy about glass and my beautiful family I also made a night light! Yes I know I’m a little odd but this way I can see them I sit at my desk to type my blogs!
The sepia is fused in to the glass at approximately 1300 degrees so it won’t scratch off. I’m not sure if you can tell but the mantel sconce it a light purple and is iridized to make it really sparkle.
