I’ve had a fun month trying out old fused glass techniques. Freeze and fuse glass is a cool technique. Basically you take powder add water put it in a mold and here is the surprise you freeze it. Once it’s frozen you fuse it. Here are some of the pieces I did recently, before and after. They really kept their shape. They are pretty big so I’m not 100% sure what to do with them.
Here are a few more. I like the little fishes, I think I’ll make a magnet, a pendant, etc. I made the doggy into a magnet and the piggy into a snap.
I also made a small art piece, I haven’t decided what I should do with it either a night light, sun catcher, or candle shield. Any preference? I think I’ll make a big piece with them as well. When I finish it I’ll blog about it.
