In July I wrote a post about my fused glass sugar castings. In that post I said I couldn’t attach them to other things. Well, that turned out not to be accurate. I used some of the smaller ones on flower stakes. I really like them. You can still see the sugar technique. I love fused glass.

I also added a dragonfly to a panel that just wasn’t quite what it was supposed to be. I put it on washy paper and framed it. I think it’s a great piece.

I also added a few pieces to a clock that I had. I just have to add the clock mechanism. I think it looks so much better.

I also took one of my snowflakes and fused a dichroic dot and made it into an ornament. Then I added the technique to these two ornaments. I think the effect is pretty cool.

I still have several more sugar casted pieces I need to decide how to display. Let me know if you have any ideas.

This is such a fascinating technique. I hope you like it as much as I do.
