I have to admit sometimes I have pieces that are in my inspiration room that I forget to finish. Ok that’s not 100% true, I have lots of pieces that I haven’t finished. Well, I finally finished a few pieces. This first piece is one of my buddha’s, I made this piece a while back but never finished it. This red buddha wall sculpture is huge. I love it so much I hung it in my finished room.
I love my buddha’s. I get the molds from my good friend Laurie, and I never get tired of making them. I have 3 types of buddha’s molds. If you look at the bottom of the blue one on the right broke, but I just couldn’t throw it out so it’s hanging in my screen-printing room as an inspiration.
This next piece I made a while back, but because it was heavy on one end and didn’t hang right so I added better hanging material now it hangs perfectly. Again, now it’s hanging in my finished room. I love making aspens and this one is a twofer because it’s also a mirror.
I also finished one of my fused glass flowers. It’s so nice to have one more flower hanging on my finished room.
It’s so great to finally finish these beautiful pieces. It’s almost as good as creating a brand-new piece.
