Recently I met an amazing woman, her name is Tracy; she is a police officer and a glass artist. This police-woman is one of the most compassionate, caring, and dedicated people I’ve ever met. We spoke about the current state of affairs and of the myriad of things she said the one that stood out the most is, those who do not support “defund police” should speak up. Well let me speak up, I love America and I stand behind our police. No America is not perfect and Yes there are bad cops, but I believe the majority are good. We need to stand-up for all the good things in America and not just denounce America and all cops as bad. Thank you Tracy for what you and your fellow police officers do for our communities. The pendants on the left are Tracy’s pendants representing the thin blue line and mine is on the right beside hers. I haven’t decided if they will be pendants, key chains, or magnets.
Now back to glass, I mentioned Tracy is a glass artist. Here are a couple of her stained glass pieces, trust me when I say the pictures don’t do them justice. I was mesmerized by the fairy, it’s spectacular.
I met Tracy is through my friend Cathy. During our last mosaic class Cathy told me about Tracy and that she can cut any shape because she has a water jet cutter.
Well when I went to her studio it was fantastic! We talked about everything under the sun; she’s so easy to talk to! She showed me how the water jet worked (she cut out my yellows for my Colorado). I even got to get the leftover. I haven’t decided how to use it. I had such a wonderful time, what fabulous woman!
Originally I asked her to cut me some bears and a Colorado C. Then I got to look around her studio and pick out other cut outs. Here are just a few. Yes, I went nuts. Now to decide what to do with the cutouts it’s exciting.
Her Facebook is Little llama studio, check it out here is the link. She is wonderful and so talented.

If you need glass cutouts for mosaic, stained glass, or fused glass I can’t recommend Tracy enough, she’s a fantastic person. I can’t wait to get together with her and Cathy for some fun. It’s going to be such a blast.
