Earlier this month I did a review on a “Wear Your Fused Glass Art – Bibs…” and I thought I’d create a fused glass necklace related to the book. I also wanted to show you the a fused glass bib necklace I did before I read the book.
First a while back I bought a choker cast mold, it’s in a bib shape. I used this mold and reactive frit and silver to create a Fused Glass Bib Necklace. I think it is extremely elegant and the picture does not do it justice
This fused glass dichroic bib necklace fresh from the kiln! I haven’t even had a chance to put the pinch bails in and the cord. I like dichroic and I thought pink and green dichroic would really be a great combination. I also wanted to verify how sturdy the dichroic bib necklaces are. As you can see I added extra dichroic at the joints to make it more durable.
Let me know (elegantfusedglass@gmail.com) what you think about my two fused glass bib necklaces. If you would like to see more of my fused glass artwork visit my site at www.elegantfusedglassbykaren.com or if you’d like to buy one of these necklaces please email me at elegantfusedglass@gmail.com
Keeping my kiln warm,
Karen
