I love creating fused glass hearts, whether they are hand cut or casted. I saw a post on one of my fused glass Facebook groups where a Fused Glass Artist in North Carolina was asking for fused glass heart donations. I was stationed in South Carolina and loved going to North Carolina, I’ve been to Grandfather Mountain, Boone, etc. and it just breaks my heart what happened during the hurricane. Here are a few posts from her on Facebook, she’s gotten so much support. I love how Fused Glass Artists are so giving!

Needless to say I donated hearts to this amazing and important cause. We all have to do our part and I’m happy to do my part. Here are my 20 fused glass casted hearts. The next couple of pictures are her post which includes my pieces. They’ve sold numerous hearts and raised lots of money to support North Carolina.

Here are some of the Red hearts, aren’t they beautiful. I even made some Christmas Hearts. The left is the front of the hearts and the right is the back of the same heart. Both sides are beautiful.

I’m not a big fan of yellow, but I wanted to have various colors. I think these turned out well.

Here are a few more, these are a bit more abstract. Aren’t they pretty?

Here are some of the white at frit hearts I made last month in my white scrap challenge.

Of course I had to have blue as well. I love all colors of hearts. I can’t make enough hearts.

All of these are pocket hearts so I included my cards with them. I hope they like my hearts.

As a reminder there are several ways to display the fused glass hearts or you can just keep them in your pocket.

I just love hearts. Aren’t they all so beautiful. Which is your favorite? I’ll be making more of course so let me know if you have a color you want me to make.
