Doherty Craft Fair Winner

I had my last craft show of the year 4-5 December. It was a great show. I got to see some old friends and meet new ones. Thank you for everyone who came by. I really like Doherty because it’s 2 days and much easier on my body with set up and tear down. Here are just a few pictures of my setup. BTW Thank you to Lela – she was such an amazing help during the show. Thank you Lela!

Just like Liberty and Rampart shows I held a drawing for those who signed up for my newsletter – the winner is Katie. She can choose her $25 worth of free fused glass. Katie just email me and we can figure out when you can get your prize.

Speaking of winners, Liberty’s winner Julie came by and took $25 off this beautiful snowflake bowl.

During the Doherty show I gave away fused glass Christmas ornaments, pendants, small dishes, and bracelets to everyone who gets my newsletter and came by the show. I love giving presents to my newsletter recipients/readers for a couple of reasons, 1) everyone deserves gifts especially during these difficult times; 2) I really appreciate those of you who get/read my newsletters – it makes me feel so good when someone says I got your newsletter and I love the story about…; 3) I love seeing everyone – it makes my day to see people who love my art.

I love taking pictures with my customers especially when they purchase special fused glass pieces, here are a few from my Doherty show. Thank you again for coming to my shows, I appreciate it more than you can imagine.

I have amazing customers and sold some wonderful pieces including my aspen lantern, my greenman, several mushrooms, a beautiful vase, – just to name a few that I didn’t take pictures with.

Thank you all. I don’t think I can express how much that means to me. So Thank you again to all those who get and read my newsletters – That is why I give presents to all my newsletter recipients who visit my shows.

The other thing I love to do is to support other artists, below are some of the things I bought from fellow artists. I bought this amazing little Christmas tree – It so reminded me of Westcliffe.

I also bought these amazing handmade cards. If you look closely you can see some of my glass. Please consider buying my fused glass and putting them on handmade cards.

I also bought this beautiful handmade bird feeder. I’m thinking about adding glass to cover the screws. That’s right everything looks better with glass.

Ok I will admit I bought more than I should have, and here are a few more of them. I love handmade things. So much work and love goes into every piece, which makes them so much more special. Remember to support your local Artists.
