In keeping with my 2019 goals for my fused glass I decided to uses some of my dichroic glass. I have on hand. I learned to etch dichroic glass years ago from Tanya Veit. Back then it was huge, albeit now it’s pretty common but it’s still beautiful and fun. I like that I can put almost any image into dichroic. See some of my new pieces below.
My plan is to make some of them into fused glass snaps. That being said, I’m interested in what ya’ll want. Do you want me to make pendants, snaps, magnets, etc.
I also made some really big fused glass dichroic etch pieces. I think the iris can be a big snap. But these can be poker guards, magnets, etc. Again please tell me what you think. BTW the dragonfly is two layers of dichroic. It’s really stunning.
Some of my favorite dichroic etch pieces are my butterfly wings. I just love them the hard part will be choosing which one I want to keep. They are so beautiful.
Let me know what ya’ll think. Please understand the photos don’t come close to really showing these beautiful fused glass dichroic etch pieces.
