I love getting orders for custom production fused glass dishes. Last month I received two back-to-back orders. At the same time I was also making my cousin’s tea dishes. It was busy and fun! The first order was fused glass ivory soap dishes. Here are some production pictures including fusing them, slumping them and of course them finished. It was a 50 piece order. In the bottom picture you can see some of my tea dishes.
Here are the finished custom fused glass soap dishes and their free fused glass gift. Can you guess where I got the inspiration for their free gift? This order went to New Mexico.
The next custom production soap dish order was with one of my favorite glasses. It’s so beautiful and if you fire it just right it has this lovely iridescent sheen! Again, it was a 50-piece order, but this time to Florida. As you can see by the photo on the right I was able to slump some of them with the first order.
Here are the finished pieces. One of the reasons why I love this glass is the myriad of designs in the glass, extraordinary. What do you think of their free gift? I so love this glass and use it for various glass pieces.
