I received an order for 80 black dishes for a hotel/restaurant. I love getting orders for custom production fused glass dishes. The thought of my dishes being in hotel rooms or on fine dining tables make me very happy. Here they are first I cut the black and clear glass, wash them, stack them in the kiln for a full fused, and in the mold ready to slump.
Here are the finished fused glass dishes. They look great, perfect for condiments, small snacks, etc.
As always, I also sent them a gift. It’s a black and narrow fused glass dish.
While I was picking up the black glass from D&L I also picked up some other colors of glass. My favorite way to test my glass colors is to make little dishes. I LOVE the purple. You may or may not know this, but gold is made with gold so it’s pretty expensive. Which is your favorite? I wish you could see the first one in person, it’s something else.
