I just finished making another custom production order. This time it was fused glass amenity dish. They were made with a special glass that’s a bit difficult to work with, but I think they turned out great. I used a special mold – spiral. You can see how I grind each piece and the bottom row shows them in the kiln for a full fuse. Notice I used two different kilns, I bought the oval one from my girlfriend Diane about a year ago and this was the first time I needed it. It was great because I made 125 of them. The last picture shows them in the kiln again for shaping (slumping).
Here are some of then all finished, I didn’t center them on the spiral so they are all different. I also made them a free gift, it’s the longer dish. I love the color and the texture.
