Custom Fused Glass Wedding Invitation Frame

A few months ago, I created a custom fused glass wedding invitation frame for a customer. It was beautiful and too sided. Isn’t it lovely, the back is luminescent.

Last month she asked me to make another two-sided wedding invitation frame. The grey glass she chose was quite challenging, it devitrified, and I had to sandblast it. Actually, by sandblasting it gave the glass a bit of satin appearance. I added confetti and murine for interest. I also drilled holes verse adding hangers, as I did above. I love the hanger I added, especially the vine appearance. It goes so well with the invitation.

Here is close up pictures of the frame front and back. The front has texture. I used various mauve murine.

The back of the frame is flat and the murine are set deep in the frame. So cool, I just love it. She was happy with it as well.

I hope the bride and groom like the frame as well.
