For those who follow me know I love Westcliffe Colorado and those same people know I love making custom glass artwork. This blog is combining both of those loves. A good friend of mine has a new house in Westcliffe, and I wanted to make a couple of house warming gifts for him. The house has a septic tank and evidently there are some things you can’t do and must do so I made the following signs to help people understand the rules. The first one is for the bathroom, I think it’s pretty cute.
Next I made them a sign for the Laundry room. BTW all my frames are from Seth in Westcliffe. He does an amazing job and I really enjoy his woodwork. I added the hangers to each of them so they will hang beautifully.
I also made a sign for the kitchen, clearly a strainer and maybe a grease holder is something they need. They may want a sign with conversions. Maybe I’ll do that on a cutting board. Something for me to think about.
The last sign I made my good friend is a sign about Westcliffe itself. When you visit Westcliffe the key is enjoying it and relaxing. I hope this sign will encourage all who goes to Westcliffe will do just that.
I’ve already shown him the signs and he says he likes them so I’m happy with what I’ve created. I’m curious what y’all think about my fused glass signs and the amazing frames made by Seth.
