Last month I receive a request to make some purple fused glass mushrooms for a great customer of mine. I made these with a screen-melt technique, which is one of my favorite techniques.
This first picture is trying out the recycled glass bottoms. I like them, but I thought sandblasting them would be nicer.
So the next two pictures are of the mushroom tops on sandblasted recycled glass bottoms.
I wanted to see them lit up so I put a push light underneath and aren’t these some amazing fused glass mushrooms. I love them. I even told my customer if she didn’t want them no problem. 🙂
I can’t wait to see where she puts it.
