One of my customers asked me if I could make a custom fused glass feather pendant to match a jacket (left picture), I said yes of course. I use a casting mold to make my feather pendants (right picture). I used COE 90 glass for one and COE 96 glass for the other.
I had two other fused glass feather pendants, but she needed the custom one to be purple, white, and green. As I said above I made two. So which one did she chose? The one on the right because the jacket was dark so she wanted the feather to be light.
Below is all four of the fused glass feathers. I like them all. Which is your favorite? BTW this isn’t the first time I created a custom piece based on clothing, I love making custom fused glass pieces.
She sent me a couple of pictures of her wearing the necklace and the jacket. She looks beautiful and I love how the fused glass feather pendant looks with the jacket. I’m so glad she likes it.
