Last month I posted the following new Fused Glass Plant Stakes, while I was making them I got excited about making some different plant stakes.

So the tops of these plant stakes were previously casted pieces so I made the bottoms to fit and match the top. I also used colored glass stakes. If you look closely the 3 on the left have a bit of shine to them. I added silver, palladium, and gold to them. To see the difference look at the two roses. the one on the right doesn’t have gold and the one on the left has gold added.

Last month I made a bird plant stake (left) so I decided to make another one (on the right). I think they are so cute.

I also made the plant stakes below, they are my sugar casted pieces. The sugar castings can’t have the gold added. I LOVE these plant stakes, so vibrant and tactile.

This isn’t the first time I’ve created plant stakes like these. A while back I added a heart to a plant stake and I added tiny sugar castings to very narrow plant stakes and of course I added a dragonfly to a narrow plant stake.

Here are just some combination pictures. I really love these plant stakes. I foresee keeping the dragonfly and sunflowers for myself. Which is your favorite?

Hello Karen,
It has been quite awhile since I’ve talked with you. I like your plant stakes, especially the one with the heart and butterfly. Is it still available? I didn’t see a price for it.
I also would like to know if you are able to make a glass cross with different colors inside. I would like to be able to put a ribbon through the top to hang it up.
Hope you and your family are well.
Denise, It’s been such a long time, I hope you are well.
Thank you I love the plant stakes; they are so cool and even prettier in person. My bigger plant stakes like the heart are $20 each. I’m not sure how much shipping would be but can find out for you.
Absolutely I can make a glass cross with different colors inside so you can hang it. How big were you thinking? I have a couple of casting mold that can make pretty big ones. Or I can make one from sheet glass verses casting.
Whichever you’d like just email me the size and colors and I’ll let you know the cost.
It’s great to hear from you and I hope you and your family are well. Let me know when you are back in COS.
