I received another order for fused glass soap dishes for a small hotel in California. I’ve been making soap dishes for this small hotel for quite some time. This time we decided on a blue and ivory soap dish. It reminds me of a beach – the blue represents water, and the ivory represents the sand. Here are some pictures of them cut and cleaned and ready for the kiln.
Here are the soap dishes all finished. Aren’t they wonderful, I love how they turned out. Notice the white is different sizes which really helps with the illusion that it’s sand.
As always, I made her a present – it’s a mix of blue and ivory strips of glass and meant to represent a boardwalk. I hope she likes it. I’m also sending her a fused glass heart magnet. I’m sending a heart to anyone who purchases my glass this month.
