Christmas in July – Candles

July’s fused glass newsletter focuses on holiday fused glass in preparation for my glass shows.  So for this fused glass blog I thought make a couple Christmas sconces. I made two candle sconces, ironically the design is candles.

One slumped on a smaller mold so it’s a tighter curve than the standard sconce.

In addition to my fused glass Christmas candle sconces I made a beautiful leaf for fall. It’s in the setting of a dish for candles or candy. It’s made of frit which is tiny pieces of glass all fused together. It’s actually from a mold.

It’s been a busy month for me. Wait until you see what I have in the kiln. So cool.

Remember, my first show is in August in Woodland Park.  If there is something you’d like me to bring to my Shows or to put on my websites please let me know.

If you would like to see more of my fused glass work please refer to my website Elegant Fused Glass by Karen. Keeping my Kiln warm,

Karen
