Casted Fused Glass

I mentioned in an earlier blog that I am cleaning up my studio. One of the things I had a lot of was glass that I never finished including frit. So I made a several fused glass pendants.

These are casted pieces. I had an entire jar of blues and vanilla. I just love these pieces, in fact I can’t chose which one I like the best. Which is your favorite? The tree, the star, the cross, the pendants, round pieces, or the bear?

I liked the casted pieces so much I made even more bears, trees, stars, and crosses. The bares don’t have holds but can be used as magnets, I can drill a hole for pendants. The trees, stars, and crosses all have holes and make perfect ornaments or large pendants.

I also made casted pendants. Some with holes and some without. I really love these casting molds. So much fun to play!

I also made these great round pieces. So many uses, pendants, poker guards, snaps, flower centers, etc.

I also made a pickle. My first time using this mold! I had so much fun with these pieces.

I can’t wait to hear which is your favorite fused glass casted piece. Of Course now I have to take the time and finish the ones that don’t have holes. What should I do with my bears? Below is my bear and I made it into a snap for my necklace.
