I just got back from another trip to Rhode Island. What this means is I haven’t had a chance to work on much glass. However, anywhere I go I look for glass. As I mentioned in my last blog about Rhode Island, they have some amazing glass in the hotel. My favorite is the chandlers made from recycled bottles.
I also was lucky enough to find two glass stores. One actually lets you do simple blown glass ornaments which I so wanted to do. However, since I was working and didn’t have a lot of time off I wasn’t able to take a class. The second store had some amazing blown glass.
I tried to go to another one but because of a bad storm the lights were out and it was closed. Hopefully I’ll be able to go next time.
Even the restaurants had cool lights. I just really enjoy seeing art in functional ways and places.
I love glass and every where I go I do my best to seek it out.
