This month I got to take a great class with Cathy Claycomb. It wasn’t a fused glass class. It was completely different. Plus the glass we used was beautiful. I’ve never really used it before, Kokomo glass and it’s not meant to be fused, but it’s so pretty it doesn’t have to be fused.
Alcohol ink is very popular right now and I wanted to take this class to learn more about it. I have no doubt that I will do this again.
We got to make either a gigantic piece but I broke mine into 3 smaller pieces, so I can learn from each one. Here are the two I made in class. I like them very much and will I’ll show you my third piece when I finish it.
I’m excited to see what ya’ll think of this new artwork using beautiful glass. I’m sure you can figure out I want to try this on fused glass as well.
