In my last post I talked about my fused glass class with Laurie Spray. In this blog I wanted to talk about the Airbnb I stayed at while I was taking the class. The airbnb host was Nancy and she was a true delight. We had a wonderful time together. She is an author (her books are in the picture on the left). The picture on the right is of Nancy and me and we are holding the book she wrote that was inspired by Laurie, Joel, and another amazing glass artist Craig Smith. I started reading it while I was there and what a fabulous book.
The pictures below are of the space I had, as you can see it was wonderful. A living room, books, small kitchen, a bathroom of course, and private of course. BTW the bed was adjustable and provided a massage (I was in heaven.)
Even better than the inside was the outside. This was my view in the morning. It was so beautiful and peaceful I had my tea out there every morning. The picture of the trees is my way of showing how amazing the location is. I had a wonderful time with Nancy and highly recommend her airbnb.
One of the things I loved about Nancy is all of her glass work. She is a woman after my own heart.
If you get to Santa Cruz and want to stay in an amazing place I recommend Nancy. I like staying in airBNBs (I stayed in one in Czech and New York)
