I have made many friends in the glass community. Most of my friends are outside Colorado. But here in Colorado Springs, I have fused glass, mosaic and stained glass friends. Of course I talk about Tracy all the time she is a fuser, stained glass artist and she makes amazing cutouts, I’ve also talked Cathy she’s a mosaic artist, and Kelly is a new friend but is a great stained glass artist.
We cut some birds with Tracy’s jet cutter for a mosaic class that Cathy’s doing. It was fun watch the wazer cut and breaking the birds out of the base glass. I got two birds too and a little heart. I’ll show you my piece as soon as I finish it.
We also talked and had lunch then I showed them how to screen print.
I love my friends. I like how giving, open, funny, and talented they all are; I’m so blessed to have them in my life.
