A Fun Fused Glass Class

Wow, I had another fused glass class thanks to Merle. This class was just Merle and her long time friend Kathy. They’ve been friends for 60 years!

Kathy made 3 techniques including 3 Christmas Trees. They turn out so great, I love them.

She also made the biggest pendant I’ve ever made. It’s with beautiful spirit glass and dichroic glass. I drilled a hole and put a pinch bail in it so she could wear it both ways. It’s big and beautiful.

She also made a casted dragonfly. It turned out great.

Merle made a dish with an Octopus that was cut by my friend Tracy. I think it turned out beautifully. I’m not sure if you can tell but the octopus is iridized. I’m very happy with it and I hope Merle will be too.

And of course both Kathy and Merle choose a new pendant. It makes me feel so good giving classes. I hope this is something I continue to do. Since there were two dragonflies in the mold so I made one and decided to make it into a pendant. I’m giving it to my daughter for her birthday. She’s in college, and I’m so very proud of her.
