For Christmas this year Dan and I decided to spend a whole week. A friend of mine owns a cabin and said we could use it. To put it mildly it was magnificent! We had the best time, we went on the 26th and came home on the 1st. Here are a few pictures of the cabin. Isn’t it beautiful.
We had such a good time. We drank wine, had amazing dinners (they actually catered 3 dinners), played cards, went for a walk (only one because it was really cold and windy), and we both read books (something we never take time to do at home. We also visited two good friends. I have the best friends.
We went snowmobiling, the scenery was great but the company was horrible. All in all it was ok, but not our best snowmobiling trip.
We also went to Willy’s for Breakfast and the Feedstore for open mike night. Both were great.
It’s funny, we were there for 5 or 6 days and the mountains were covered the entire time but no snow. The day we left lots of snow. I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned it but it’s also opened range and the cows were out playing in the snow.
The ride home over the pass was absolutely beautiful. I so love Westcliffe the weather doesn’t matter.
I hope each and every one of you remember to take the time to relax and enjoy one another and natures beauty.
