I also sandblasted the first two and then slumped them. I love the mat appearance, such a soft look and just love it. I also like …Read more.

Custom Fused Glass Wedding Invitation Frame

Custom Fused Glass Wedding Invitation Frame

A few months ago, I created a custom fused glass wedding invitation frame for a customer. It was beautiful and too sided. Isn't it lovely, the back is luminescent. Last month she asked me to make another two-sided wedding invitation frame. The grey glass she chose was quite challenging, it devitrified, and I had to sandblast it. Actually, by sandblasting …Read more.

Did you know ...

This section is used to answer any questions you may have or to pass on tidbits of information that add value and enhance knowledge regarding fused glass, metals, or jewelry in general. Let me know if you have anything you'd like me to discuss.  This "Did You Know" is finishing some of my projects.

---

Last summer I made these beautiful, fused glass pieces, but I never finished them. I painted the wood and then glued the piece to it. For fun I also added some vitrigraph and casted pieces I've had for a while but wanted to use them in a special way.

I also made these 3 fused glass flower pieces. I thought about adding them to wood like the ones above but instead I decided to add a hanger to the back. They are perfect for as 3 together or individually.

I also finished this stunning fused glass piece. I made it as a test piece for a gallery submission. I wasn't sure how to display it, but I decided to add a hanger to the back. It's so wonderful it doesn't need a backing.

I made these adorable fused glass pieces and decided to make them into wind chimes. I just love them.

---

I also finished some fused glass hair accessories. I also made this lovely sugar rose pin. I've been saving it for a special piece and realized it stands out on its own. I also made some tie tacks

---

I didn't just finish some of my fused glass artwork I also finished some jewelry. Here are some pendants I finished (pinch bail, normal bail, and of course snap.

I finished some earrings as well, both post and dangle.

I also made several fused glass pendant and earrings sets. Some of them are tiny and very elegant.

---

I also finished another mixed media business card holder. Thank you Gary for the holders, which allowed me to create the glass to put on it.

---

I also made a few more knives.  I need to flatten some bottles so I can put the little knives with the bottle cheese knives.

I love making flower vases and aspens and finally put some on night light findings.

---
---

I hope you like all my finished fused glass pieces. I will continue to show my finished pieces when they are complete. What is your favorite piece I finished this month.
