I've mention Susan before, she is a basket weaver artist. She's so talented and her artwork is beautiful. I met her through Merle. She's come by before and I gave her some fused glass cabochons for her baskets, and she's even made me a basket. Well, she bought some "blown glass" pieces, but they were very sharp and she wanted …Read more.

A month or so ago I added some fused glass to spoons. I really liked how they turned out, here they are again. I've been wanting to do the same with knives, they turned out great. This is an extremely personal post. A few months ago, my nephew passed away. My sister asked me if I could make some cremation crosses for her and his family. Did you know ...This section is used to answer any questions you may have or to pass on tidbits of information that add value and enhance knowledge regarding fused glass, metals, or jewelry in general. Let me know if you have anything you'd like me to discuss. This "Did You Know" is about a Red Hat event

My good friend Jax invited me to speak at a Red Hat luncheon this month. Here is a picture of the ladies in their beautiful hats. I spoke a bit about glass and how I got started.
While we were at the luncheon, I passed around some of my fused glass pieces including some small dishes, night light, plant stakes, and several other pieces. I was able to show the difference between full fused and tack fused, among other topics.
After the luncheon I invited them to come to my home studio / gallery. I gave each person that came a free pendant. As you can see, I made a lot of red and purple pendants. The hat on the table is the Red Hat, Jax let me wear to the luncheon.
After choosing a free pendant, I showed the ladies my different rooms including my finished room which included some of my fused glass jewelry.
Then I showed them my inspiration / finishing room. This is where I finish my pieces. You can see my pendants I was finishing up.
I also showed them my gallery area. I so love showing off my beautiful unique fused glass artwork.
Lastly I showed them my studio, where I teach my classes.
They had a chance to purchase some of my fused glass artwork. I really appreciate those who bought some of my fused glass.
This is my good friend Jax. One of the pieces she took home was a fused glass dragonfly. Jax is an amazing artist and is going to try to make me some displays for my dragonflies. I can't wait to see what she creates.
