Recently I've been giving a lot of classes and I'm really loving it. On the 3rd of February I had a combination Casting and Pocket Vase Class. It's funny most classes people make the same thing i.e., dishes, ornaments, pendants. Well, I have several students who are advanced and like to do their own thing so in this class we did …Read more.

Normally the maximum students I host in my fused glass classes in my home studio is 5. However, for my fused glass class on the 4th of February a couple of odd consequences occurred. Roni who scheduled it asked if 6 people could participate - I said yes since y'all are all friends. But then two people dropped out. Meanwhile …Read more.

Last week was Valentine's Day, I thought I'd show some different Fused Glass Hearts. This first group is a new technique, it's not casted. They can be sun catchers, framed, or ornaments. They are too large for pendants. These next two hearts are casted which is why they are thick and smooth. aren't they pretty. I've showed these previously but …Read more.

One of my goals is always to try new fused glass techniques. Well, this is one of them, it's based on Mark Lauckner's Patreon courses. He is a fabulous artist and I love his techniques, so unique and fascinating. I won't go into how to make the technique, but I will tell you I find it a bit addicting. It's …Read more.

I love creating fused glass and I love sharing my fused glass. I look for worthy places to donate my glass artwork. Sometimes it's for them to resell like Mission Wolf or www.millionkids.org and some of them are just as gifts like when I gave several pieces to Mary’s Home/Dream Centers “A Safe Haven for Women and Children”. I was on Facebook …Read more.

Did you know ...This section is used to answer any questions you may have or to pass on tidbits of information that add value and enhance knowledge regarding fused glass, metals, or jewelry in general. Let me know if you have anything you'd like me to discuss. This "Did You Know" is a year in review and a plan for 2024. I really love teaching and sharing my love of fused glass. I thought I'd share the classes I've taught over the last couple of years. Of course I'm open to teaching other things as well.

These beautiful ladies took my first official fused glass class. They made small dishes. Merle took a class prior with just us and she was one of the people who encouraged me to teach fused glass.
This was Christine's, Jeremy's, Julie's and Brenda's first class but definitely not their last. All four of them have taken multiple fused glass classes with me. They made small dishes as well.
This is my good friend Tracy, sometimes we get together and create glass. Tracy has come over twice since I started teaching classes. She made Christmas Trees and little glass art.
Here are Jeremy, Julie, and Christine in their first Christmas Ornament class and their second fused glass class.
Here is Brenda again for her second class. It's Kayla's and Glenda's first glass. Didn't they do a great job on these beautiful Christmas Ornaments.
Here is Jeremy's and Julie's third class and Anna's first class. They made beautiful ornaments. I didn't mention it before, but the class includes two ornaments, but students can make extra ornaments for an extra fee.
Normally my classes are three people, but Cheryl needed to make 14 garden stakes, so I make an exception and had a class of 1. I think these are so cool and lots of fun.
Here is Brenda's third class; Kayla's and Glenda's second class; and Chris's first class! The ornament class is such fun. Love these ladies!
This was a private class with my friend Lela. It was a difficult class because of the subject, anything for my best friend.
Here is Brenda's fourth class, Kayla's third class, and Brit's first class. All of these ladies are quite talented. Love this class with these beautiful women.
Again, this was a private class for Kathy and Merle. Kathy made all six of these beautiful flower vases.
This was the most challenging class I've held so far, and it was with three amazing women. Kayla's 4th class and Chris's and Brit's 2nd class. Didn't they all do a spectacular job on these incredible Mantle Sconces!
Here is Anna's and Christine's 2nd class and Julie and Jeremy's 4th class. They chose to make these cool Halloween ornaments.
Brenda took her 5th class creating Screenprinted tea dishes. This was Glenda's 3rd class, where she made tiny tea dishes and tea stirrers.
This was another ornament class and Kayla's 5th class, Chris's & Brit's 3rd class and Alicia's and Tammy's 1st class. The ornament class is such a fun class, it really brings out student's creativity!
This was a new class, Brenda wanted to make casted hearts so that's what her 6th class was and Glenda's 4th class. Linda and Lona took their first class. Lona made a casting and Linda made a nightlight.
This was an interesting class, it was Brenda's 7th class, Glenda's 5th class, and Kayla's 6th class and Chris's 4th class. I really love the casted pieces and look at those beautiful pocket vases.
This was the largest class I've had in my home studio - 6. Normally I only have 3-5. It was so busy I didn't have a chance to take as many pictures. But they sure made some beautiful fused glass pieces.
