Fused Glass Business Card Holder

Fused Glass Business Card Holder

Recently I changed jobs and though I'd make some fused glass business card holders. It's difficult because I have so much beautiful glass. Plus, I have lots of beautiful silk-screens - that I can screen print on my glass for my holders as well as decals. That's the most difficult job, what glass to put on the holders. These first …Read more.

Did you know ...

This section is used to answer any questions you may have or to pass on tidbits of information that add value and enhance knowledge regarding fused glass, metals, or jewelry in general. Let me know if you have anything you'd like me to discuss.

This "Did You Know" is to talk a bit about my show Rampart and a reminder about Doherty Craft fair the first weekend in December!

---

I had a wonderful show at Rampart. BTW the Winner of the Drawing is Sarah. Sarah you won $25 of free fused glass. If you saw something you liked let me know or you can come to my Doherty Craft fair on 2-3 December.

I hate taking pictures, however I try to take one of my booth for each show. Here is a picture of me and my booth.

Here are a couple of close up pictures of my booth including my snaps, nightlights, magnets and my pocket vases and aspens. I like the Rampart show because they let me set up the night before and where I am located I get to show off even more of my artwork.

---

Look who stopped by 3 of my favorite students. I love these women they've taken so many classes from me. We even set up another class for the spring - fused glass plant stakes.

---

Guess who else stopped by my booth; my good friend Cathy. Cathy is an amazing mosaic artist. I've taken several classes from her - she's a great artist. BTW her company is Shattered Glass Restored and in case you aren't from Colorado Springs she does online mosaic classes as well.

---

Another one of my good friends Merle stopped by to say hi as well. She is an incredible artist - she made both of these lovely gourds, checkout her site to see some of her amazing artwork. She had a booth and I have to say she had some fabulous new gourds that I just love. I love having artists as friends they just make me happy and make me a better artist.

---

I also want to give a shout out to my neighbor artist Gary and his wife. We bought the Red and blue moon pictures. I really love his use of reclaimed wood.

See the picture in the bottom right, well he's making us a similar one of the Sangre's. Plus I get to go to his studio. I'm so freaking excited.

I wish I had his site to share it with you - he is an amazing artist!

Here is another piece I bought from Gary last time we were at the Rampart show. I also bought a daisy from his for my sister-in-law years ago. I just love his work.

*I can't wait to visit his studio!!!

---

My next and last show of the year is Doherty Craft Fair. It's 2-3 December and I look forward to seeing you and sharing my love of fused glass.

---

Just to entice you to come and visit here are the specials I have going on during Doherty. Let me know if there is something you'd like me to bring to Doherty Craft Show. I hope to see you there!

---

I so love going to shows, I love sharing my art with people and I love talking to other artists. Remember, buying from artists and crafters mean more to them you'll ever know, I've posted this saying several times and it's because it's true. Support your local artist, everything they do is because they love art and it makes them happy and they want to share it with others.

Thank you to all of those who came by my booth and spent time with me.
