Last time we went to Westcliffe we picked up some salt and pepper from the Amish Deli. The cool thing about the salt and pepper is it comes in plastic bowls. I'm not sure how your state is but in Colorado you either have two pay for bags (10 cents) or buy some reusable bags. I received another order for fused glass caviar dishes for a small restaurant in Colorado. I've made these before and they are a bit complicated. David, I remember the first time you called me mom, it one of my favorite moments in my life. I also remember when you called me to tell me I was going to be a grandmother and all the moments in-between and since then. I've loved you from the moment your dad showed me your picture. I'm so honored to be your mom. |
Sky, I remember the day you were born and the first day you walked and so many other moments - both happy and sad. You are beautiful, I love your smile and your hugs. I love you sweetheart. |
Wow, you know when I started writing this DYK, I thought I just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing moms in my life. But as I was writing it I realized how truly blessed I am. How is it possible that I didn't realize how many strong, talented, beautiful, intelligent women I had in my life. Thank you to all of the women who have touched my life, whether you are a mother or not you are special to me, and I love you with all my heart. |
