Did you know ...

This section is used to answer any questions you may have or to pass on tidbits of information that add value and enhance knowledge regarding fused glass, metals, or jewelry in general. Let me know if you have anything you'd like me to include. One of my goals this year is to finish my products, use glass that I have, use different molds, etc. Well in this "did you know" I've done all three. I've used some of my favorite glass, new molds, some of my new decals, some of my more unique findings, and finished some of my glass. What I love about glass is all the things you can make out of glass from functional to art to jewelry. Glass is so versatile.

I created several new fused glass bowls this month. I love making bowls, they have so many uses. I made a couple beautiful bowls in pink and one was a screen melt. I made another shallow dish with red, pink, and gray. I also made a blue aventurine bowl, it has so much depth. They are all so pretty.

I created five cuff bracelets; rose, brass, silver plated, and gold plated. I picked out some beautiful glass stones!

Here are a few of my new fused glass pendants. The tree is screen printed and the other pendants are decals. I really like the wildlife pendants.

As I've always said everything looks better with glass, so here are some tiny spoons and I put fused glass cabochons on the spoons. Perfect for stirring coffee or tea.

I also made two letter openers with fused glass on them. They are not only functional they are pretty. I really like the little fused glass pebbles.

I made a fused glass dangle earrings.

I also made some fused glass hair accessories, specifically bobby pins and hair bands.

I don't remember to make fused pendant and earrings very often but I made some really pretty ones. They are pretty small and I have some posts and some dangles.

I have a bad habit of making cabochons and forgetting to finish them. I finished all of these up and added bails. I really like the stringer pendants.

I finished some more of my flower magnets. They are just so pretty.

I made some fused glass rings, charms, buttons, and some pocket crosses.

Of course I had to make some fused glass snaps. I wish you could see how much depth are in two of these snaps.

Last but not least I made a sun-catcher or ornament. I used brass chain but ribbon can also be used.
